William “Will” Harris

Dr. William “Will” Harris William “Will” Harris has been named dean of academic affairs for the College of Arts and Sciences at Presbyterian College (PC). A member of the Presbyterian College faculty since 2017, Harris brings nearly two decades of teaching, research, and academic leadership to the role. He will oversee undergraduate academic programs, student success initiatives, and career and professional development efforts while working closely with faculty, staff, and students to advance the college’s strategic academic goals.

As dean, Harris will supervise associate deans for academic success and for career and professional development, direct the college’s First-Year and Second-Year Experience programs, and support initiatives related to student recruitment, retention, and academic integrity.  Harris holds a B.A. from Alabama State University, master’s degrees from Cornell University and the University of Akron, and a Ph.D. from Cornell University.
