Dr. Terence L. Finley Terence L. Finley has been named the eighth president of Corning Community College in New York. His presidency is scheduled to start on January 2.

Finley is currently the vice president and chief operating officer at Harris-Stowe State University in St. Louis, Missouri. Earlier, he worked for another HBCU, Prairie View A&M University in Texas, where he was assistant vice president for business services and interim associate vice president for auxiliary enterprises.

Finley earned his bachelor’s degree in marketing and economics from the State University of New York at Brockport. He holds an MBA in marketing and logistics from Pennsylvania State University and a Ph.D. in educational leadership with an emphasis on higher education from Prairie View A&M University.
