Dr. Ebony Gilbreath
Gilbreath had served as the Interim Dean for TUCVM since June 3, 2025.
Previously Gilbreath was appointed as the Associate Dean for Academic and Student Affairs for the college after serving as Interim Associate Dean for Academic Affairs during the beginning of the spring 2023 semester.
Gilbreath is a board-certified veterinary anatomic pathologist who has served on the faculty at Tuskegee University since 2011. She previously served as the Assistant Dean for Pre-Clinical Programs, Department Head of Pathobiology for three years, and also served as Section Chief of Necropsy and as the Diversity and Inclusion Representative for the College.
Prior to joining the faculty at Tuskegee, Gilbreath earned her B.S. degree in Animal and Poultry Science in 2000 followed by her DVM degree in 2004, both from Tuskegee University. She went on to Michigan State University where she completed a residency in Anatomic Pathology and a Ph.D. in Pathology, before returning to her alma mater in 2011.
