Leslie C. Appiah

Dr. Leslie C. AppiahLeslie C. Appiah has been named chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in the School of Medicine at Meharry Medical College and executive director of the Center for Women’s Health Research at Meharry Medical College. Dr. Appiah joins Meharry from the University of Colorado School of Medicine and Children’s Hospital Colorado.

Appiah is an expert in fertility and reproductive preservation in women and girls undergoing cancer treatment, hormone replacement therapy and breast cancer treatment.

Appiah holds a bachelor’s degree from Baylor University and M. D. from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas Southwestern Medical School.
