Mercedes GutierrezMercedes Gutierrez has been appointed vice president/assistant superintendent of human resources at Cerritos College in Norwalk, Calif. Gutierrez earned a doctorate in educational leadership from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, a master’s in bilingual/bicultural education from Loyola Marymount University and a master’s in educational leadership from California State University, Los Angeles.
