Penn State’s Veterans’ Tailgate was one of the largest ever, with a turnout of 10,000 veterans, family members and others in the military community, according to a press release.
At Saturday’s tailgate at the Bryce Jordan Center, the Downtown State College Improvement District presented Penn State President Eric Barron with a giant check to complement the occasion, which honored both Military Appreciation Month and Veterans’ Day.
