Teresa Leyba Ruiz, Interim President of Glendale Community College, perhaps described the new GCC Veteran Services Center best, when she said, “In 2010, as soon as we opened the doors, we knew it was too small.”
Since that time, 16,000 families have walked through the door.
Leyba Ruiz and other college and military officials made their remarks during the grand opening celebration of the new, expanded center at a March 24 ceremony.
