CALLA Einchenberger of William S. Reyes Elementary School and Alvin Jesse Y. Borja of San Vicente Elementary School are among the nominees for this year’s Teacher of the Year Award.
Einchenberger has been with the Public School System for seven years now. Her favorite quote is “Be the change you want to see in the world.”
She said the purpose of education is to guide students and help them succeed in their dreams.
According to her colleague, first grade teacher Paulette Tudela, Einchenberger “is a sweet and firm teacher who cares about her students and will go beyond her duties to nurture and educate her kids to the best of her abilities.”
