Rule Change Will Help Military Spouses

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – For dozens of military families, school this upcoming year may be the opportunity they were looking for.

From here on out military spouses have fewer hurdles to jump through to teach in the state.

“That’s a huge step forward for Nebraska,” said Meagan Patton-Paulson.
Patton-Paulson’s husband is in the military.

“I love my husband, and I am so supportive of the face that he serves our country, but it totally takes a stab at my career. It’s hard to rebuild every time we move,” said Patton-Paulson.
