WASHINGTON, D.C. — Last summer, Champaign County honored the oldest living member of the Tuskegee Airmen, making Charles E. McGee grand marshal of its Fourth of July parade.
Tuesday night, it was the commander-in-chief’s turn.
“General McGee, our nation salutes you. Thank you, sir,” President Donald Trump said during his State of the Union address, bringing applause from both sides of the aisle.
