Art Institute of Charleston Closes Enrollment

Once touted as a necessary training ground for Charleston’s culinary and creative workers, the Art Institute of Charleston announced Monday it will stop enrolling new students.

What that means for the future of the 11-year-old, for-profit private school — and for the local hospitality industry that hires some of its graduates — remains uncertain.
