For the past several months, Bethune-Cookman University has worked on numerous military academic initiatives such as: GEM; FLYCA; DANTES/DSST; Minuteman Scholarship; Military Training Credits; and more to enhance opportunities for students in the military to attend college. B-Cu has enrolled approximately 169 military students on campus and online. Currently, Mr. Alli Braswell, Civilian Aide to the Secretary of the Army (CASA) has collaborated with Military Affairs and B-CU Global Online College to draw together the military presence as an academic and leadership option for young people in African-American community.
