There are 124 veterans on campus this semester at UWS, comprising 6% of the student population.
And that student population is who the Department of Workforce Development and the Department of Labor want to make sure get the help they need when it comes to finding jobs after graduation.
Assistant Deputy Secretary Dave Anderson met on campus with officials from UWS and the Department of Labor. He is an alum of the school, and proud to hear how well the Veteran Center is serving the campus.
