U.S. Senator Tammy Baldwin applauded the Department of Education’s announcement to award the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee $236,900 in TRIO grant funding. The funding will go towards the University’s Educational Opportunity Center in order to assist the Center in sustained efforts to increase access to postsecondary education for adults from disadvantaged and underrepresented backgrounds. This announcement comes after Baldwin wrote a letter of support for UWM application.
