New Web Site to Focus on the Business of Higher Education

LearningTimes LLC, a provider of online conference communities for education, and the Campus Computing Project, the largest ongoing study of information technology in American higher education, have announced the launch of MarketTimes, a Web-based information service focused on the postsecondary education market. The subscriber-based Web site will be launched Sept. 9.
The monthly MarketTimes interactive webcasts, broadcast on the first Tuesday of each month, will be structured around guests who can provide informed, independent perspectives on the people, events, technologies, policy issues, money matters and corporate alliances that shape the postsecondary education market. The monthly programs will feature interviews and panel discussions that include college presidents, campus CIOs and CFOs, senior officials from leading educational and industry associations, senior corporate executives from the IT and college publishing industries, analysts and vendors, and key decision-makers at all levels.
