EDGAR MARTINEZ has been named director of the Saint Leo University Orlando Education Center. He was assistant director of distance learning and continuing education at the University of West Florida. Martinez earned an associate from Lorain County Community College, a bachelor’s from Kent State University and a master’s from Bowling Green State University.

JORGE G. GONZALEZ has been named president of Kalamazoo College, effective July1. He is vice president for academic affairs and dean of Occidental College in Los Angeles. Gonzalez earned a bachelor’s from the Monterrey Institute of Technology, and a master’s and a doctorate from Michigan State University.

GLADIS KERSAINT has been appointed dean of the Neag School of Education at the University of Connecticut, effective in July. She is associate dean of the College of Education and a professor at the University of South Florida.
