Former Alcorn State University President Dr. M. Christopher Brown has been named provost and vice president for academic affairs of the Southern University System, a newly-created position.

DANIEL AMADO TRUJILLO has been appointed dean of studies and student life at Sarah Lawrence College. Trujillo was associate vice president and dean of students at St. John’s University in New York. Trujillo received a bachelor’s from the University of Redlands, and a master’s and a doctorate from the University of Missouri.

ALBERT LEWIS JR. has been appointed vice president of economic and workforce development at Bellevue College. Lewis was dean of corporate, community and continuing education at Moraine Valley Community College in Palos Hills, Illinois. He holds a bachelor’s from Marshall University and a master’s from the University of Akron.
