JOEL PÉREZ has been appointed vice president and dean of students at Whittier College. He was dean of students for community life at Seattle Pacific University. Pérez earned a bachelor’s from Biola University, a master’s from Azusa Pacific University and a doctorate from Claremont Graduate University.

S. W. TINA CHOE has been named dean of the College of Science and Engineering at Loyola Marymount University. She was interim dean of the college at Loyola Marymount. Choe earned a bachelor’s and a doctorate from the University of California, Los Angeles.

ELI JONES has been named dean of the Mays Business School at Texas A&M University. He was dean of the Sam M. Walton College of Business and holder of the Sam M. Walton Leadership Chair at the University of Arkansas. He holds a bachelor’s, an MBA and a doctorate from Texas A&M.

BETH WALKER
BETH WALKER has been appointed dean of the Colorado State University College of Business, effective July 1. She was chair of the marketing department at the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. Walker earned a bachelor’s from Virginia Tech and received a master’s and a doctorate from The Pennsylvania State University.

GRETCHEN HOLBROOK GERZINA
GRETCHEN HOLBROOK GERZINA has been appointed dean of the Commonwealth Honors College at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, effective July 15. She was chair of the department of African and African-American studies, a professor of English and Kathe Tappe Vernon Professor of Biography at Dartmouth College. Gerzina earned a bachelor’s from Marlboro College, a master’s from Simmons College and a doctorate from Stanford University.
