Dr. Mickie Allen has been named director of the Orfalea Child Development Center at Citrus College in Glendora, Calif. She has also served on the faculties of Glendale Community College and California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. Allen earned a bachelor’s from California State University, Northridge, a master’s from Phillips Institute and a doctorate from Nova Southeastern University.
Ann Armstrong has been named executive director of the Center for Educational Outreach and Innovation at Teachers College, Columbia University and president of Teachers College Innovations. Previously, she was vice president at Intellinex, an Ernst & Young eLearning Co. Armstrong earned a bachelor’s from Randolph Macon Women’s College and master’s degrees from Columbia’s Teachers College, Fairfield University and the University of Cincinnati.
Rose Coston-McHugh has been appointed executive director of the office of human resources at Camden County College in New Jersey. Most recently she was a senior human resources analyst for AAA Mid-Atlantic Inc. She earned both bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Rutgers University.
