Emotional Support Animals Are Becoming More Common on College Campuses

Since April 2017, Sam Goodin, director of Services for Students with Disabilities, has approved 14 applications for students to have live-in emotional support animals at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

As a need for mental health treatments increases, this type of therapy may become more common on college campuses.
