Dr. Franklin D. Gilliam, Jr., a member of the University of California Los Angelesâ political science faculty for more than two decades, has been named the new dean of UCLAâs School of Public Affairs, pending approval by the University of Californiaâs Board of Regents. Gilliam is slated to begin Sept. 1.
