JOSE FIERRO has been appointed president and superintendent of Cerritos College. He was vice president of academic affairs and chief academic officer at Laramie County Community College in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Fierro earned a DVM from the University of Applied Sciences in Bogotá, Colombia, a master’s from Nova Southeastern University in Florida and a doctorate from Northcentral University in Arizona.

VIKRAM AMAR has been appointed dean of the University of Illinois College of Law. He was a professor and senior associate dean of academic affairs for the School of Law at the University of California, Davis. Amar earned a bachelor’s from the University of California, Berkeley and a juris doctor from Yale University.

Marks Distinguished Professor of Business Law and director of the Hawai‘i Procurement Institute at the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa William S. Richardson School of Law. Conway earned a bachelor’s from New York University, a juris doctor from Howard University and a master’s from The George Washington School of Law.

He was Franz Alexander Professor of Psychiatry & the Behavioral Sciences and chair of the psychiatry department at the University of Southern California. Pato earned a bachelor’s from Brown University and an M.D. from the University of Cincinnati.
