ALBERT LEWIS JR. has been appointed vice president of economic and workforce development at Bellevue College. Lewis was dean of corporate, community and continuing education at Moraine Valley Community College in Palos Hills, Illinois. He holds a bachelor’s from Marshall University and a master’s from the University of Akron.

WANDA K. LAWRENCE has been appointed chair of the Department of Nursing at North Carolina Central University (NCCU). She was a full professor at Winston-Salem State University. Lawrence earned a bachelor’s from NCCU, a master’s from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a doctorate from Capella University.

ELIZABETH G. LOBOA
ELIZABETH G. LOBOA has been appointed dean of the College of Engineering at the University of Missouri, effective October 15. She is a professor of material science and engineering and a director of the Cell Mechanics Laboratory at North Carolina State University. Loboa also is associate chair and a professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering in the joint program operated by North Carolina State and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She earned a bachelor’s from the University of California, Davis, and a master’s and a doctorate from Stanford University.
