Danielle S. Allen has been appointed a professor of government at Harvard University. She will start in July. She will also serve as director of the Edmond J. Safra Center for Ethics. She was the UPS Foundation Professor in the School of Social Science at the Institute for AdvancedStudy in Princeton, New Jersey. Allen earned a bachelorâs from Princeton University, a masterâs and a doctorate from Cambridge University, and a masterâs and a doctorate from Harvard University.
