CINDY D. KAM
CINDY D. KAM was named William R. Kenan Jr. Chair in the Department of Political Science at Vanderbilt University. She also serves as senior associate dean for faculty in the College of Arts and Science and is the director of the Research on Individuals, Politics & Society Laboratory at Vanderbilt. Kam holds a bachelor’s from Princeton University, and a master’s and a doctorate from the University of Michigan.

DOROTHY HORRELL has been appointed chancellor of the University of Colorado Denver, effective January 4. She was board chair of the Colorado State University Board of Governors. Horrell holds a bachelor’s, a master’s and a doctorate from Colorado State University.

YAO WU is the inaugural Jane Chace Carroll Curator of Asian Art at the Smith College Museum of Art. She was a curatorial research assistant in Asian art at the Cantor Arts Center at Stanford University. Wu earned a bachelor’s from Fudan University in China and a master’s from Williams College.
