WANDA K. LAWRENCE has been appointed chair of the Department of Nursing at North Carolina Central University (NCCU). She was a full professor at Winston-Salem State University. Lawrence earned a bachelor’s from NCCU, a master’s from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a doctorate from Capella University.
