Working with the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) since 2021, Dr. Diane Forbes Berthoud serves as vice president, inclusive excellence and institutional effectiveness and a professor at UMB’s School of Graduate Studies. She comes to the position with more than 25 years of experience in higher education, nonprofit and government addressing organizational change management and development, strategic planning and assessment. In her position, Berthoud works to advance UMB’s equity and inclusion strategy, implementation and accountability.
