Kiki Rice - UCLA, Basketball

One of the superstars of collegiate basketball, Kiki Rice has a GPA of 3.82. She is majoring in communications with a minor in education. On the court, the junior guard led UCLA to the top seed in the NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Tournament and the Bruins’ first-ever Final Four appearance. UCLA head coach Cori Close describes Rice as outstanding on every front. She is a leader on the court, excels in the classroom and uses her platform for the good of others. This includes spending time with little girls after every game and being involved in charitable projects.

“She has completely changed the culture and work ethic of our program,” says Close. “It’s one thing to lead by example; it’s a whole other thing to infl uence and impact others so that they want to follow you. Her stamp of excellence will be on this program for many years to come.”
